How to keep quality while reducing size

  1. Upload a video (MP4, MOV, WebM, etc.).
  2. Adjust the Quality slider in the settings panel (Higher = better quality, larger file).
  3. Optionally enable "Scale down resolution" to further reduce file size (width/height halved).
  4. Choose output format (MP4 or WebM).
  5. Click "Compress & Download" – the video will be re‑encoded with the optimal bitrate derived from the quality setting.

How it works: The tool uses a quality factor (0‑100) to compute a target bitrate based on resolution, frame rate, and a reference quality baseline. Higher quality = higher bitrate, lower quality = lower bitrate. This gives you control over the trade‑off between file size and visual fidelity.
