📌 How to record a browser tab

  1. Important: Screen recording requires a secure context (HTTPS or localhost). If you're opening this file directly (file://), it will not work. Use a local server: python -m http.server or VS Code Live Server.
  2. Click "Start Recording" – a browser dialog will appear.
  3. Select "Chrome Tab" (or "Firefox Tab") – you can then choose any open tab.
  4. Alternatively, select "Entire Screen" or "Window" to capture those.
  5. Click "Stop Recording" when you're done.
  6. Preview and download the recording as a WebM file.
  7. Use the Setting panel to adjust video bitrate and frame rate.

Privacy: Your recording never leaves your device — no uploads, no servers.
