How to compress MP3:

  1. Select an audio file (MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A, FLAC, etc.)
  2. Adjust compression settings in the panel on the right:
    • Bitrate – lower = smaller file, lower quality (32–192 kbps recommended)
    • Sample rate – 22050 Hz or 16000 Hz saves space
    • Channel mode – Mono reduces size by ~50%
  3. Click "Compress & Export MP3" – the file will be re-encoded with your settings
  4. Download the compressed MP3 and compare the size savings

All processing happens in your browser using LameJS – files never leave your device.
