How to decrease volume:

  1. Select an audio file (MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A, FLAC, etc.)
  2. Adjust the "Volume multiplier" slider in the settings panel (right) – values below 1.0 make it quieter
  3. Use "Preview with Reduced Volume" to hear the effect (no file saved)
  4. Choose output format (MP3 recommended) and bitrate
  5. Click "Reduce Volume & Export" – the quieter file will be created locally
  6. Download the result and enjoy softer audio

All processing happens in your browser – files never leave your device. Reducing volume never causes clipping.
