How to optimize file size:

  1. Select an audio file (MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A, FLAC, etc.)
  2. Choose an optimization preset from the panel on the right:
    • Speech – 32 kbps mono (smallest, for voice)
    • Podcast – 64 kbps mono (good for talk)
    • Music Low – 96 kbps stereo (background music)
    • Music Medium – 128 kbps stereo (balanced)
    • Music High – 192 kbps stereo (near‑original quality)
    • Custom – set your own bitrate, sample rate, and channels
  3. Click "Optimize & Export MP3" – the file will be re‑encoded
  4. Download the optimized MP3 and see how much space you saved

All processing happens in your browser using LameJS – files never leave your device.
