📌 How to record a specific window

  1. Secure context required: This tool works only on HTTPS or localhost. Serve this page using a local server (python -m http.server or VS Code Live Server).
  2. Click "Start Recording (Window)" – a browser dialog will appear.
  3. Select the "Window" tab (on Chrome/Edge) or choose "Window" in the picker. You can then select any application window.
  4. If the "Window" option is not available, choose "Entire Screen" or "Chrome Tab" – but for pure window capture, pick "Window".
  5. Click "Stop Recording" when finished.
  6. Preview and download the recording as a WebM file.
  7. Use the Setting panel to adjust video bitrate and frame rate.
